'Presentation on Wednesday': Romano says Liverpool player will officially say goodbye to Anfield shortly
Fabrizio Romano has just taken to Twitter to report that Liverpool star, Sadio Mane, is now all but a Bayern Munich player.
It’s the worst kept secret in football at the moment but Mane is set to move to Bayern after looking for a new challenge this summer. His departure will bring the curtain down on a fine career at Anfield which has seen him win every trophy there is to get.
And taking to Twitter just now, Romano has said Liverpool fans can plan for this week – Wednesday in particular – if they wish to see Mane done the famous Bayern Munich strip.
WORST Premier League Loan XI 21/22
Mane’s Anfield exit will be a disappointment to many a Liverpool fan. Indeed, some pundits have questioned why he is leaving, especially to a team in Germany who are likely to dominate week after week.
However, it’s been clear for a while that Mane sees his future elsewhere, and only he will know the proper reasons as to why. Liverpool can’t complain, really. They’ve had his best years and sold him on for more than they paid in the first place as well.
TBR’s View: Mane In A Bayern Kit Will Be Odd For Liverpool Fans
It’s always strange to see a favourite in another team’s kit and this week will be one of those occasions for Liverpool fans.
Sadio Mane will go down as a legend at the club and rightly so. The signing of Darwin Nunez will also soften the blow a bit for those Reds fans who are more concerned than others over his exit.
For Mane, it’s simply another chapter for him. He will be a success in Munich, there is no doubt. He is nowhere near finished and last season, still looked at his best at times.
