Romano says Leeds player will leave on loan imminently
Fabrizio Romano has taken to Twitter suggest that Leeds United full-back Cody Drameh is set to leave on loan to join Cardiff City, and interestingly, is being monitored by a host of Premier League clubs.
Drameh has been in and around Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team for a few months now. He went into this campaign after a brilliant first year with the under-23s.
He has made his senior debut. And he has looked bright against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup and Norwich in the Premier League. He also featured in the FA Cup tie at West Ham on Sunday.
However, it would appear that that may be Drameh’s final appearance for Leeds for a little while. Romano has claimed on Twitter that he is set to move to Cardiff for the rest of the season.
The move will go through next week. Swansea City meanwhile, were amongst those to miss out.
There are also question marks over his long-term future. Romano added that a number of top-flight sides are keeping tabs on the 20-year-old ahead of the summer…

Leeds making right call loaning Cody Drameh out, but cannot sell youngster
Drameh has not yet been able to put pressure on Luke Ayling for his spot. Of course, it is a huge task given Ayling’s importance to the side. But there have been times when the youngster has struggled.
And with that, a loan appears to make a lot of sense – even with Leeds’ injury issues.
However, selling him permanently surely cannot be an option. If he realises his potential, he could be an amazing player in the years to come.
This loan will provide a better idea of whether he is destined for that level.
