Respected journalist, Fabrizio Romano, says Arsenal could have a decision on Folarin Balogun in the coming days, with his future still unresolved.
Balogun has yet to sign a new deal with the Gunners. He could be free to go in the summer for nothing, a situation Arsenal are keen to avoid.

But with no progress as yet on that new contract and interest from the Bundesliga, per Romano, it’s getting to the point where something needs to happen between both parties.
And speaking on his Here We Go podcast, Romano believes the coming days could be crucial in the Arsenal and Balogun saga.
“Balogun wants to play. He only wants to play. If he’s going to play, there’s chances for Arsenal,” he said.
“But if he’s not going to play, then there are chances for other clubs. He’s in a good relationship with the club cos he loves Arsenal. I think in the coming days we will understand more on his future. Keep an eye on Bundesliga. Some German clubs are really interested but not RB Leipzig.”

Mikel Arteta has previously spoken of his desire to keep Balogun. However, he is yet to give the youngster much playing time. Further, the Gunners have also picked up in form, meaning Balogun’s chances are likely to be even more limited.
It would mean no fee for Balogun, despite the Gunners valuing him previously at around the £15m mark. (Goal)
TBR View: Balogun looks like he’s on his way, he simply won’t get the minutes
Even though Balogun looks a top talent, he’s clearly in a rush to play. And you can’t argue that’s a not a positive in a way. The player simply wants to play football and who can fault him.
The risk is that he goes elsewhere and ends up in the same situation. It will stunt his development and also be a big shame.
Arsenal really should be pushing the boat out to keep Balogun but on all the evidence at the moment, he seems more likely to be off.
