'Direct contact': Fabrizio Romano issues Tottenham transfer update ahead of Chelsea clash
Tottenham take on Chelsea today in the Premier League but there is still plenty to sort off the pitch for Spurs in terms of incomings and outgoings over the next week or so. One of those players who needs his future resolving is midfielder, Tanguy Ndombele.
Ndombele is once again struggling to have any sort of impact at the club, despite Tottenham enjoying quite the bounce under new manager, Antonio Conte. The French midfielder has once again tumbled down the pecking order, and the club are looking at ways of moving him on.
One of the club to express an interest in Ndombele in recent days is PSG. The Ligue 1 giants are thought to be keen to see Ndombele arrive on loan, with a view to a permanent move in the summer. Naturally, Ndombele is keen on the move to Paris if a deal can be done.

And according to Fabrizio Romano, talks are ongoing between Ndombele and PSG, with his agents now in direct contact with the French outfit.
Ndombele has struggled under numerous managers at Tottenham since being the club’s record signing. The midfielder is said to command around £200k-a-week, and PSG will – as stated above – need to cover that whole wage.
TBR’s View: Ndombele Exit A Bonus For Tottenham
It’s just never going to work is it? Ndombele has flattered to deceive the entire duration of his spell in Tottenham and it doesn’t look like changing any time soon.
Antonio Conte has clearly seen enough and wants him out. Although why PSG, who are chasing Champions League glory, want him is a bit of a mystery in all honesty.
But, you never know. Ndombele might find peace in Paris and with that the performances might come. He is a talent, but maybe the Premier League just isn’t for him.
