Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Leeds United are keeping tabs on FC Zurich’s Wilfried Gnonto.
The transfer insider, speaking on Que Golazo, suggested the 18-year-old could be “the final surprise” for Whites fans this summer.
Leeds have enjoyed a fruitful transfer window, bringing in seven new players.

The Whites have also done relatively well in their first two Premier League fixtures, claiming four points.
However, Leeds did let a two-goal lead slip against Southampton last week, suggesting there’s still work to be done.
Jesse Marsch is reportedly looking for reinforcements in attack ahead of the transfer window closing.
Patrick Bamford limped off during the early stages of Saturday’s draw, evoking memories of his injury struggles last season.
Therefore, a new forward is a must for Leeds.
And Romano namedropped Gnonto as a player to look out for in the final two weeks of the transfer window.
“One name I wanted to mention is Willy Gnonto,” he said.
“This Italian guy playing for Zurich, who did very good in the last games.
“(He’s) 18-years-old, former Inter academy player, who is available on the market because many clubs have been interested this summer.
“Leeds are keeping an eye on him so he could be the final surprise for Victor Orta and Radrizzani at the end of the market.”
Gnonto is a very talented youngster who Italy coach Roberto Mancini has described as a player who ‘can do everything’ .
Already a full Italy international, the teenager can play in a variety of central and wide attacking roles.
