Romano claims Everton want Max Aarons this summer
Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Twitter that Everton are one of the sides who are considering a move for Max Aarons this summer.
Norwich appear set to face a fight to keep the right-back at the end of the season. He has continued to impress this term, helping Daniel Farke’s men move into a strong position in the promotion race.

Whether they get across the line or not, it seems that Aarons could well be playing in the Premier League next season.
According to journalist Romano, Everton are keen on the 21-year-old. He has suggested that Carlo Ancelotti is looking to sign a new right-back this summer. And Aarons is on the wishlist.

Romano notes that Bayern Munich have already entered talks with the Canaries about Aarons. Manchester United are also interested.

It’s gonna be a long race: Bayern Münich have already opened talks with Norwich to sign Aarons, Man Utd scouted him too.

It is not the first time the Toffees have been linked with Aarons. TEAMtalk reported in December that Everton were considering making a January bid for the full-back.
So it is probably not that much of a surprise to see Aarons linked once again. But he will not come cheap.
Sky Sports reported earlier this month that Norwich had told Bayern that he would cost a fee of between £30 and £35 million.
Aarons’s performances would hint that that fee could still prove to be a bargain in years to come. But with Mason Holgate doing really well at right-back in recent months, perhaps it should not be a huge surprise either if Everton had their doubts about paying such a significant fee this time around.
