Romano claim on Arsenal star must spark Liverpool into action - TBR View
Fabrizio Romano claims numerous clubs are already approaching Arsenal over a move to sign Bukayo Saka – and Liverpool must be on red alert.
Saka, 20, is considered one of the Premier League’s best young players – and is quickly making his mark on the England scene. He has a deal until 2024.
But the England star is now being linked with the exit door at Arsenal. Transfer expert Romano says multiple clubs have approached the Gunners.
However, the North London club are keen to keep Saka: “Some clubs are starting to approach Saka, Arsenal consider him untouchable.”
If Saka is to leave his boyhood club, the likelihood is that he will cost a lot of money – joining a side currently in the Champions League.
Romano on Saka: Liverpool must be on red alert for Arsenal talent
The Daily Star reported in the summer of 2020 that Liverpool were looking at Saka, before the midfielder penned a new deal at The Emirates.
Clearly, there are admirers at Liverpool for Saka. Now, the race is hotting up for Saka with numerous clubs looking at the playmaker.
The Reds need a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum, while Xherdan Shaqiri has gone. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is certainly injury prone.
Jurgen Klopp could really do with a player that can play out wide, in attacking midfield or as an 8. Saka is the ideal candidate for the role.
If there is a chance Saka could be on his way, then Liverpool must be on red alert. They have got to consider a move for the England star.
