Clinton Morrison was left amazed by Arsenal defender William Saliba during their win over Nottingham Forest today on Sky Sports.
Arsenal thrashed Steve Cooper’s men 5-0 at the Emirates today and went back above Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring for the Gunners inside five minutes as Mikel Arteta’s men made a typically fast start.
The north London club carried on threatening throughout the first-half but couldn’t find a second goal before the break.
Forest began to grow into the game just before the end of the first-half but Saliba produced a brilliant piece of defending that left Morrison amazed.

Sky pundit left amazed by Saliba
Morgan Gibbs-White dispossessed Takehiro Tomyasu and Cooper’s men found themselves in a promising position.
But Morrison said Saliba completely snuffed out the danger as he took the ball away from Taiwo Awoniyi with ease.
“But wow. The defending there from Saliba is unbelievable,” Morrison said on Soccer Sunday on Sky Sports.
“Awoniyi was in on goal, kind of on the right-hand side.
“He just said get off me and brought the ball out. He’s like a Rolls-Royce.”

Arsenal came flying out of the blocks once again in the second-half and scored three goals before the hour mark.
Reiss Nelson replaced the injured Bukayo Saka before half-time and the youngster scored a quick-fire brace after the break.
Thomas Partey then grabbed another for the Gunners after smashing his long-range effort into the top corner. Martin Odegaard also got amongst the goals and made it five for Arteta’s men.
Saliba has been a revelation for Arsenal ever since returning from his loan spell at Marseille over the summer.
The £27 million man has slotted in seamlessly in Arsenal’s backline and has arguably been one of the best defenders in the league so far this season.
Today’s win was the perfect response from Arteta’s side after a disappointing defeat to PSV on Thursday evening.
