Rodrigo De Paul appears to have dropped a clear hint that he wants to join Leeds United as he responded to a Whites fan account on Twitter on Monday night.
De Paul has been linked with Marcelo Bielsa’s side for a little while this summer. The Telegraph reported last month that he was the club’s first-choice midfield target for the final weeks of the window.

The report noted that he was set to cost at least £25 million. But they are not the only side reportedly monitoring the 26-year-old.
Tuttomercatoweb reported last week that he had rejected the chance to join Zenit. However, it was suggested that the Udinese star may be holding out until he can secure a move to another Serie A side.

But it appears that he may actually want a move to Elland Road.
The Square Ball was asked by a Leeds fan on Twitter for an update on De Paul. And they suggested that they had heard that he is keen on a potential move and the onus is on Leeds and Udinese to reach an agreement.
And the Argentinian decided to send the Whites fans into meltdown by seemingly agreeing with the update. He also included a fingers crossed emoji in a now deleted tweet.
Here is the post before it was taken down…
It remains to be seen if De Paul does end up at Leeds. But the fans will certainly be hoping that they have just received an insight into what the attacking midfielder is currently thinking about his future.
