Leeds United have received a boost ahead of the return of the Premier League this weekend with Rodrigo Moreno seemingly confirming on Instagram that he has returned to training.
The Whites were without the Spaniard for their final two games before the international break. It was initially announced on Leeds’s official website that Rodrigo had been in close contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus.

The forward subsequently confirmed on Instagram that he himself had tested positive. Fortunately, the 29-year-old insisted that he and his family were feeling well.
And it appears that Rodrigo may be back in contention to return this weekend.

The summer signing posted a clip on his Instagram story showing him in Leeds training gear with the caption: ‘Work’…

It will provide a big lift for Leeds to have Rodrigo back in the ranks. Of course, his absence was not the reason for their two heavy defeats.
But the results and performances arguably highlighted just how important he has already become. He had been superb in the number 10 role, scoring the equaliser against Manchester City.
He had been outstanding in the 3-0 win at Aston Villa. And Arsenal will surely be a lot more concerned about facing Bielsa’s side this weekend should they see Rodrigo named in the starting lineup.
