Tom Rogic picked up an injury on international duty which kept him out of Celtic’s easy 3-0 win over Hamilton at the weekend.
The Australian playmaker is facing a race against time to be fit for the crunch Europa League trip to face Rosenborg tomorrow night and that gives Brendan Rodgers a real selection dilemma.
Celtic really could do with a win on the road to keep their hopes of European progression alive, but the Betfred Cup final against Aberdeen looms large on Sunday.
Both matches are huge but it looks as if Rogic does not have two big performances in him within such a short space of time, so Rodgers perhaps has to make a decision over his priorities.

European progression is perhaps the only way for Celtic to truly test their improvement and in the absence of Champions League football, getting into the knockout stages of the Europa League would also be a major boost in terms of attracting new talent in January.
But domestic silverware is Rodgers’ bread and butter and it would perhaps be a dangerous game to chase their European dream while they sit 90 minutes away from getting their hands on a trophy.
Whatever Rodgers does, it will offer a glimpse into his priorities.
