Rochdale fans react as Arsenal youngster Tolaji Bola joins on loan

A number of Rochdale fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that the club confirmed on their official website that they have signed Tolaji Bola on loan from Arsenal.

Bola is yet to make his debut for the Gunners first-team. However, the 21-year-old has been a regular fixture in their under-23 side. He has made 44 appearances in Premier League 2.

The Arsenal youngster has now got the chance to make the grade in senior football. Rochdale have announced on their official website that he has joined on loan until January.

Bola looks set to bolster Dale’s options at left-back. But he is also a player who can play further up the line, at centre-back or slightly further forward in a holding midfield role.

Admittedly, it is going to be tough for Bola to catch Arsenal’s eye while he is away. Nevertheless, it looks to be a really good opportunity for the youngster to gain some experience at a decent level.

It certainly appears that plenty of Rochdale fans on social media feel that it is a really good piece of business from their club.

Brian Barry-Murphy’s side have won one of their opening four games and are currently sat in the bottom-half. But there seems to be a lot of optimism concerning the Arsenal youngster’s arrival.
