Arsenal were victorious against Manchester City yesterday in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley and club legend, Robin van Persie, has singled out a few Gunners stars for special praise.
The Gunners saw off City with a 2-0 win thanks to a double from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

It was a major win for Mikel Arteta, who saw his team help him get one over on former mentor and coach, Pep Guardiola.
And former striker Van Persie, as well as singling out Aubameyang, was quick to praise two other Gunners stars for their role in the win over City.
Luiz put in a fine display at the back to keep Gabriel Jesus quiet, while Maitland-Niles showed off his versatility again with an excellent display at left wing-back.
Van Persie, then, was right to point out the pair, albeit a bit unexpected – especially when it comes to Luiz – following performances in recent weeks.

If ever there was a time to prove the doubters wrong, then a showpiece game at Wembley Stadium was the time to do so. All three of who Van Persie pointed out were excellent. But as he also states, the rest of the XI and squad was good as well.
It was especially satisfying for David Luiz, who put weeks of bad press behind him to put in a performance that he is more than capable of for the Gunners.
Pep Guardiola had sung his praises in the build-up to the game. Ultimately, the City boss was proven right by the big Brazilian as he showed his class yesterday.
