Robin Olsen has suggested – in comments reported by Everton’s official website – that he would like to stay at Goodison Park and make his loan move permanent.
Olsen has been a shrewd signing for the Toffees. The 31-year-old has now made four Premier League appearances for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

His quality shone through in the recent 2-1 win at Leeds. The Swede made a remarkable triple save during the second-half as the Whites chased an equaliser.
He is certainly staking a claim to feature more regularly upon Jordan Pickford’s return from injury. And he has now suggested that he hopes to remain on Merseyside beyond this season.

“We want to stay, but it is not me who decides,” he told the club’s official website. “I can only cross my fingers and see what the Club says.
“As a family, we have moved around and feel we are in a good place now. We are very happy, so why not stay until it is time to move home to Sweden? That is what we would choose.
“It is easy to say that – but everything needs to be sorted out.”
TBR View: No-brainer for Everton
As things stand, it is surely a no-brainer for Everton to make his move permanent. The stopper has stepped up on a number of occasions when he has been called upon.
Pickford is likely to be given every opportunity to remain the long-term number one. And Everton would do well to land a better understudy than Olsen.
His comments would suggest that he is content with his current role. And he has shown when he has come into the fold that he can produce outstanding performances.
So it will surely come as no surprise if Everton act swiftly this summer to make sure that he remains at the club beyond his loan spell.
