Leeds United fans got their weekend off to the perfect start following last night’s dramatic 3-2 win at Wolves.

It wasn’t half stressful, mind.

Leeds trailed 2-0 at the break and looked like they were going to suffer a heavy defeat.

Jonny opened the scoring on 26 minutes and Francisco Trincao netted in the 11th minute of injury time.

However, the Elland Road outfit halved the deficit in the 63rd minute through Jack Harrison.

The 25-year-old scored on the rebound after Luke Ayling threatened the Molineux goal.

Just four minutes later, Leeds drew level as Rodrigo Moreno pounced on a loose ball after a Romain Saiss error.

And in injury time, the impressive Ayling slammed home following more chaotic scenes in the Wolves box.

Scoreline and goalmouth action aside, the game also saw other flashpoints.

There were multiple injury-enforced substitutions and a red card for Raul Jimenez.

But for the second matchday in a row, Leeds triumphed thanks to an injury-time winner.

Ayling attempted to emulate Robbie Keane’s iconic cartwheel celebration following his dramatic late goal.

Wasn’t quite as smooth as the Irish icon’s celebration, mind:

Ayling joked about it after the match, telling Sky Sports: “I tried to do the Robbie Keane but I couldn’t land the cartwheel which is a bit disappointing – I’ll have to work on that!”

Likewise, he and his teammates laughed about it on Instagram.

Robin Koch took to the social media platform with a picture of the celebrations and the captions “more craziness”.

Cue this funny exchange between Ayling and Koch where the German admits he still had “no idea what you were doing there”.

Fair play to all the Leeds players – what a huge victory, and now they’re seven points clear of the bottom three.

Obviously still some work to do before safety is guaranteed, but the Whites are definitely on the right track.
