Leeds United striker Tyler Roberts could be about to face the most daunting task of his career.
The Wales international could be in line to play against Spain in a friendly. If so, he would come face to face with a genuinely world class defender in Sergio Ramos.
But this is an exciting opportunity for the teenage starlet to show his worth.
If he can impress against Ramos and the top class Spanish defence, then Marcelo Bielsa’s head will be turned.
Roberts has recently had a run in the Leeds’ starting line-up, due to injuries.
With Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe both sidelined, Roberts has played in six consecutive Championship games.
In that time, the 19-year-old has scored three goals and certainly staked a claim to stay in the side.
But before his injury, Roofe was in red hot form, netting four goals in six league games.
And the 25-year-old could be set for a return after the international break. This means that Roberts has an extra incentive when he pulls on his Welsh shirt.
And in what would be his third cap for Wales, he will be out to impress against a highly talented Spain team.
If he can convince Bielsa that he can get the better of some fantastic defenders, he might just keep his starting spot for the Whites.
