Roberto Firmino has raved about his Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah by giving immense credit for his work-rate.

Salah is a left-footed attacker that has already cemented his place in the Reds history books and he currently sits on 99 goals in just 158 appearances for them.

The 28-year-old right-winger has been a key part of Jurgen Klopp’s side at Anfield, helping them to win a Premier League and Champions League in the past couple of seasons.

He’s a goal machine that has one thing on his mind when he gets around the penalty area, plus he’s part of one of Europe’s top forward lines alongside Firmino and Sadio Mane.

Firmino has spoken about the Egyptian attacker during the international break and pointed out how much effort he puts in.

“I admire Salah a lot. I love the way he plays. He scores a lot of goals. You wouldn’t believe how hard he works. I’m very grateful to play alongside him,” Salah told Fifa.com.

TBR’s View:

Salah has reached heights in the last few years that pretty much nobody predicted and it’s hard to think back to a time where he was on the fringes at Chelsea, who will be massively regretting the decision to let him go.

The dazzling wide player gets the headlines for his incredible goalscoring output and often people discuss his greediness in the final third, but the effort he puts in pressing the ball for Jurgen Klopp’s side can’t be overlooked and he’s such an elite performer at Anfield on a consistent basis.

His Liverpool team crumbled to an embarassing 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa before the international, but it was Salah who scored both his side’s goal and he will be central to them responding to the result.
