Manchester United’s bad run continued this weekend with a loss to Newcastle United.
The Red Devils may have had some good results in the league as of late, but the performances have been terrible and it’s hard to imagine they will be in the top four conversation for much longer.
Simply put, United haven’t been good enough, and, as you can imagine, fans are losing patience.
Speaking on BBC 606, Robbie Savage has been discussing Manchester United’s situation with one supporter, and he now reckons that Luke Shaw is the only United player who would get into any of the other top six sides.

Shaw the only United player good enough for the top six
Savage shared his verdict on the £30m man and the rest of United’s squad.
“The problem is we keep defending these players, do any of these players right now make any of the top six right now. You have to look at your competition,” One caller said.
“No, no the only one I’d say does is Luke Shaw, Luke Shaw,” Savage said.
Might be right
As harsh as it sounds, Savage might be right here.
You look at some of United’s so-called best players at the moment, and you do question whether or not any of them are at that level.
Look at someone like Bruno Fernandes, a fantastic player on his day, but he’s been lacklustre this season, and we can’t think of which other top side would take him.
He doesn’t get into Man City’s team, Martin Odegaard and Dominik Szoboszlai start over him for Arsenal and Liverpool respectively, James Maddison is a better player for Spurs when he’s fit, and Cole Palmer is smashing it for Chelsea.
Other than Shaw, it really is hard to make an argument for another United player starting in any of the big six sides, and that’s quite scary.
