Rio Ferdinand has shared what the Brentford fans were shouting at Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale yesterday.
Speaking on TNT Sports on Saturday evening, Ferdinand claims the home fans were chanting David Raya’s name to the Arsenal goalkeeper.
Aaron Ramsdale was handed a rare start against the Bees on Saturday evening, with Raya unable to play as he’s currently on loan at Arsenal from Brentford.
The 25-year-old endured a shaky start to the game, largely down to some early nerves after such a long spell out of the side.

Indeed, Ramsdale hadn’t started in the Premier League since early September and nearly gifted Brentford a goal inside the opening 15 minutes.
The Englishman was saved by Declan Rice, who produced an exceptional goal-line clearance to deny Bryan Mbeumo.
And after an early mistake, the Brentford fans wasted no time to begin ramping up the pressure on the Arsenal star.
What the Brentford fans were shouting at Aaron Ramsdale
Speaking on TNT Sports during Arsenal’s 1-0 win over the Bees, Ferdinand noticed the Brentford fans shouting Raya’s name at Ramsdale.
“We mentioned before it was going to be important the way Ramsdale starts for his confidence and even the home fans have been shouting for Raya,” the Manchester United legend said.
“He’s a former player here at Brentford. That must be seeping in, those nerves, and that situation would have been a nightmare scenario for him going to bed last night thinking about this game, preparing for this game.
“But his next pass was a positive one so hopefully he continues with that.”

Ramsdale did begin to settle down in the second half and Arsenal picked up a deserved 1-0 win thanks to a last-gasp Kai Havertz header.
But Arteta would have been left unconvinced by Ramsdale’s display and was even spotted shouting at the Gunners star after he ignored his instructions not to play short.
You’d imagine that after yesterday, Raya will keep his place as Arsenal’s number-one goalkeeper for the time being. But you can hardly blame Ramsdale for displaying some early nerves in the game.
The Arsenal star knew he was only in the side due to Raya being ineligible to play and after spending the past two months watching on from the bench, it’s no surprise he was rusty during the early stages.
