Manchester United suffered a 4-3 defeat in the Champions League last night, and Rio Ferdinand didn’t enjoy what Arsenal fans did after they learned about the result.
The Red Devils, unlike Arsenal, are having a really difficult season so far. Things went from bad to worse last night as they were beaten 4-3 by FC Copenhagen. Ferdinand was not a happy man.

Rio Ferdinand shares what Arsenal fans were doing after Manchester United lost
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand was at the Emirates last night as a pundit for TNT Sports to watch Arsenal take on Sevilla.
It was a great night for the Gunners, who picked up a comfortable 2-0 win thanks to goals from Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka. The win took them four points clear at the top of their group.
While watching Arsenal dominate, Rio Ferdinand kept an eye on what was happening in Denmark in the game between Manchester United and Copenhagen, as were some fans at the Emirates through their phones.
When news made its way to North London that Manchester United were conceding goal after goal that led to a 4-3 defeat, Ferdinand was at the receiving end of some mockery from Arsenal fans around him.
While speaking about the Manchester United game, Laura Woods asked Ferdinand on TNT Sports during their coverage last night: “This lot here at the Emirates were giving you dogs abuse, weren’t they?”
The Manchester United legend replied: “I was getting hammered. Terrible result. I said at the weekend before Fulham that it was in crisis mode, they managed to get a victory there, then to go away and be 2-0 up, then Rashford gets sent off – not that it’s his fault for the result – but it’s a poor result.
“It’s a really bad result. This team now needs to pick themselves up and show some character.”

Arsenal are almost through to the next round
Arsenal’s victory over Sevilla last night puts them on the verge of qualification for the next round of the Champions League.
The Gunners could confirm their place in the knockout stages without even kicking the ball later this month if PSV Eindhoven lose against Sevilla.
Even if that doesn’t happen, one point in their next two games will be enough for the Gunners to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
Manchester United, on the other hand, are bottom of their group and could get knocked out of the Champions League if they don’t turn things around in their final two games.
