Rio Ferdinand has just reacted on Twitter to performance of Jude Bellingham v Germany
Jude Bellingham was one of the stars of the show for England as they fought out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Germany this evening.
Bellingham was once again handed a start in the middle of the park with Declan Rice and he produced a fine display against a number of players he knows well from the Bundesliga. Of course, Bellingham is one of the most sought after players in Europe right now and there is heavy speculation linking Liverpool with a move for him.
The Dortmund midfielder has caught the eye of a number of pundits this season already with many excited about the prospect of seeing him in the Premier League. And one of those to react to his performance against the Germans tonight was former England man, Rio Ferdinand.
Taking to Twitter after the game, Ferdinand issued a short and sweet tweet to show his respect for Bellingham’s performance on the night.
Bellingham is expected to command a huge fee if and when Dortmund do decide to sell him. Since arriving from Birmingham, he’s made a midfield spot his own with the German giants.
Tonight against Germany, he did his reputation no harm whatsoever with a fine performance that was mature beyond his teenage years.
TBR’s View: Liverpool Have To Sign Bellingham
He just seems to be getting better and better doesn’t he? Despite the mixed bag over this international break, Bellingham has been a standout and Liverpool simply have to go all out for him.
Bellingham has a bit of everything about his game and there is no doubt he is a fixture in this England team for years to come now. He was, in the end, unlucky to be on the losing side.
If the Reds can be the team to sign him, then it catapults them right back up to Man City’s level in doing so.
