Rio Ferdinand has lavished praise on Tottenham Hotspur winger Heung-min Son, adding he’d love him at Manchester United.
The South Korean was at it again on Sunday, firing in an amazing goal from distance against Arsenal and assisting Harry Kane during a 2-0 win.
The star has taken his game to a new level this term, relishing running in behind defences with Kane dropping deep at times.

In all competitions he’s plundered 13, and Ferdinand couldn’t help but wax lyrical on the Five YouTube channel.
He said: “If there’s a player I could take now that I feel is gettable (for Manchester United), he’d be up there as one of my first picks. Definitely in my top three.
“I love the way he plays – he’s direct, he hurts teams, he wants to score all the time, he can go off both feet and he looks like a fantastic lad as well.”
£22 million signing Son (BBC Sport) now only needs four more goals to equal his best ever tally in the Premier League (14), and 11 more to equal the 21 he scored in all competitions back 2016/17.
TBR’s View – Son needs new Spurs contract
There have been some whispers about a new deal for Son in recent weeks, and Spurs should me making it a priority.

The superstar is surely now world-class or at least knocking on the door, and needs a contract that reflects that.
He’s probably just as paramount as Kane, who earns £200,000-a-week, which is probably the offer the club should be making as he prepares to give his prime years to the club.
