Speaking to The Mail on TikTok, Ronaldo has shared who he believes is the best striker in the world, and, it’s fair to say that the Brazilian is uniquely qualified to give his verdict on this matter.

According to Ronaldo, Mbappe is the best striker in the world.

Interestingly, this comes just weeks after it was reported that Mbappe was exploring a move to Arsenal, but, unfortunately, it now looks as though he may be Real Madrid-bound instead.

“Who is the best striker in world football right now?” Ronaldo was asked.

“Kylian Mbappe,” Ronaldo said.

Ronaldo has picked Mbappe as the best striker in the world, but this is a very tough argument to agree on.

On one hand, Mbappe has been doing the business at the top level for years, he’s a World Cup winner who has scored tons of goals in Ligue 1.

But, at the same time, he’s never won the Champions League, and he’s never played outside of France.

Meanwhile, Erling Haaland has won basically all there is to win at domestic level, and he’s breaking goalscoring records, left right and centre.

Then again, Harry Kane leads the race for the European Golden Shoe this term, but, he’s never won a trophy.

The debate around who is the best striker in the world is bound to divide fans across the world, but if Ronaldo is picking Mbappe, it’s fair to say that O Fenomeno isn’t too far wrong.
