Rio Ferdinand has said that Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale will be a top player “for years to come”.
The Premier League legend was speaking on the latest episode of Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE.
Ferdinand and co-hosts Joel Beya and Stephen Howson went over their picks for the league’s top players this season.

Ramsdale was in the running for Signing of the Season alongside the likes of Luis Diaz and Bruno Guimaraes.
Arsenal signed the 23-year-old in August last year for a fee that could reportedly rise to £30million.
At the time, there was a mixed reaction from the Gunners fanbase.
Some questioned his credentials in wake of back-to-back relegations with Bournemouth and Sheffield United.
Others, meanwhile, wondered whether £30million on an apparent back-up goalkeeper was worth it.
Now, virtually nobody is questioning Arsenal’s decision to sign Ramsdale, or the player’s quality.
He quickly made the first-choice gloves his own and has played a huge part in the Gunners’ push for the top four.
Ferdinand gave the Signing of the Season gong to Liverpool’s Diaz, but gave a special mention to Ramsdale.
“Aaron Ramsdale, yep,” said Ferdinand.
“He started the season ridiculously well, being talked about to play for England.
“He’ll be a top keeper for years to come.”
In addition to impressing on the pitch, Ramsdale is popular in the dressing room and has become a fan favourite.
Best of all, he’s still very young, particularly for a goalkeeper.
So Arsenal really have struck gold with Ramsdale.
