‘Ridiculous player’: Everton fans loved James Rodriguez performance against Spurs

Everton fought to a 2-2 draw with Spurs last night at Goodison Park as they put in a performance which, arguably, deserved more on the night.

The Toffees had the lead after fighting back from 1-0 down, as Gylfi Sigurdsson rolled back the years to strike a fine double, including a stunning second-half strike.

A number of Everton players seemed back to somewhere near their best last night, in fairness. Among those players to impress was Colombian superstar, James Rodriguez.

The ex-Real Madrid man was back to his old self. He drifted seamlessly across the pitch, creating space and picking out intricate passes throughout to be a constant threat for the Toffees.

Everton fans, then, were delighted with what they were seeing from Rodriguez, with plenty of supporters taking to Twitter to sing the praises of their superstar midfielder.
