‘Ridiculous’: Arsenal fans react as Arteta names latest XI for Southampton clash

Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter to the latest first XI named by Mikel Arteta, as the Gunners take on Southampton this evening.

The Spaniard will be desperate to see his Arsenal player show some fight after a miserable display against Burnley last time out.

With a big squad to choose from, Arteta has once again had some big decisions to make and has opted to go with Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Eddie Nketiah in the big calls in his XI tonight.

Southampton present a tough test for the Gunners. The Saints saw off Sheffield United with ease at the weekend and are, on form, one of the best teams in the league at the moment.

Arsenal fans, then, have been reacting to the latest XI from Arteta and it seems one or two are delighted to see the changes, although the lack of Folarin Balogun has some Gunners concerned.
