Micah Richards feels Trent Alexander-Arnold will spend his entire career at Liverpool trying to emulate Manchester United icon Ryan Giggs’ trophy haul.
Alexander-Arnold’s chasing a second Premier League title this term after helping the Reds end their top-flight title wait in 2019/20.
The Anfield natives had not won England’s top title in 30-years before edging Manchester City two seasons ago. Clinching the crown by 18-points.

Writing in his Daily Mail column, Richards noted his belief that Alexander-Arnold would be looking at title number four this season if it were not for City.
Pep Guardiola’s side denied Liverpool in ‘18/19 after lifting the title on the final day by one-point. And City came out on top last term with the Reds third.
Just six-points currently separate leaders Manchester City and second-place Liverpool this season. But the Merseysiders do have one game in hand.
Richards feels Liverpool star Alexander-Arnold is ‘dreaming’ of emulating Giggs
Having now been involved in three Premier League title fights with Liverpool, Richards feels Alexander-Arnold will have eyes of emulating Giggs’ 13 titles.
Giggs spent his entire career at Manchester United after emerging from their academy, like Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool so far.

And Richards questions if Alexander-Arnold will ever want to leave Anfield, given what he has already achieved after six seasons.
“Trent Alexander-Arnold would be dreaming about emulating Ryan Giggs and having a career in which his championship medals could go into double figures,” Richards wrote.
“Trent, it seems, is going to stay at Anfield for life. He’s 23 and has one title. Without City, he would be on his way to his fourth.”
Alexander-Arnold is not without faith in Liverpool and his teammates securing more titles in coming seasons. He stated last month, via quotes by TuttoMercatoWEB: “I just want to win, trophies and competitions.”
The England full-back also added the Reds ‘will be disappointed’ if they cannot at least win one title a season, given the squad Jurgen Klopp’s built.
