Tottenham were beaten by Arsenal at the weekend and Richard Keys has questioned bot the club and Cristian Romero after their defeat.
Arsenal were the better of the two teams on the day and in the end, a header from Gabriel was enough to see the Gunners over the line.
Tottenham were left frustrated in their attempts to trouble Arsenal. That has led to some criticising Spurs, with Alan Pardew among those to suggest goalkeeper Vicario needs to be better.

However, it is something that happened before the game that caught Keys’ eye.
Cristian Romero was apparently in agreement with suggestions Tottenham should have flown him back from Argentina quicker in midweek.
And speaking of that incident and Romero’s late arrival back to England, Keys has suggested both player and club might be to blame.

Richard Keys sends message to Cristian Romero
Writing in his weekly blog round-up, Keys suggested that Romero maybe use some of his riches to sort out his own travel.
“How much do we hear about ‘small margins’ these days? I thought it was interesting to see Christian Romero appearing to criticise Tottenham’s travel arrangements for players who were on international duty,” Keys wrote.
“The Mail report he reposted a message by an Argentinian journalist that claimed Spurs ‘gave an advantage’ to Arsenal because they were ‘the only PL club that made their players come back from their national teams without their own logistics.
“In English, the journo and Romero were saying Spurs should’ve organised private flights for players – not rely on national federations to book scheduled flights. Arsenal’s players arrived back in England Thursday – Spurs’ Argentinian contingent on Friday.
“Perhaps Romero has got a point? Maybe there is something in his argument. If there is, I wonder if he thought about organising his own travel? Players can certainly afford such luxuries these days and I’m certain he would’ve done for a shopping trip!”
Romero just has to be better
Regardless of the time he gets back from international duty, Cristian Romero is a World Cup winner and simply has to be better for Spurs.
Jamie Redknapp called Romero out for his poor man to man marking and that point is more than valid.
With Tottenham having won just one game all seasons, they need their biggest and best players to step up to the mark and perform.
Romero is one of those players who needs to do that and until he does, Tottenham will simply remain a team who doesn’t win.
