Tottenham head into this weekend’s north London derby with a few selection issues to contend with.
Destiny Udogie is out of action until the end of the season, and, by the sounds of it, Tottenham could also have another defensive issue this weekend.
Indeed, speaking on The Tottenham Way Podcast, Marcus Buckland has been discussing Pedro Porro’s current situation, and he says that there are some serious doubts about the Spaniard’s fitness, claiming that the last he’s heard is that he’s being monitored on a daily basis.

Pedro Porro is a doubt for this weekend
Buckland spoke about Porro’s situation and if he’ll be fit for this weekend.
“There are some doubts about Porro as well, the last I heard from the club was that he’s being monitored on a daily basis, hopefully he has enough time to get fit,” Buckland said.
Arsenal could have a field day
This is probably the worst position Tottenham could find themselves in heading into this weekend.
Indeed, more than anything else, Arsenal pose a massive threat down the wings and if Spurs are without their two first-choice full-backs, they will be in serious trouble.
Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will be licking their lips if they get the chance to go at Ben Davies and Emerson Royal this weekend, while this would also take away from Tottenham’s attacking impetus as well.
Spurs need to beat Arsenal to keep their top four hopes alive, but their task will get that much harder if they are indeed without Porro as well as Udogie.
Fingers crossed Porro can get fit in time for this weekend’s game, because Spurs will really miss the right-back if he’s not able to play.
It will be very interesting to see what sort of team Ange Postecoglou fields this weekend.
