Reported Wolves target gets 8/10, deemed a 'towering presence' in Wednesday win

Reported Wolves target Rob Dickie delivered another impressive performance for his side on Wednesday night.

According to The Mirror, the Molineux outfit is one of two English top-flight sides in pursuit of the QPR defender.

As well as Wolves, fellow Premier League side Burnley are also apparently in the race for Dickie.

The 25-year-old powerhouse, who is 6ft 4in tall, has begun the 2021-22 campaign in impressive form.

As well as impressing at the back, he scored three goals in his opening three games in all competitions this term.

Dickie’s goals helped QPR draw with Millwall and beat Hull in the league, as well as overcoming Leyton Orient in the League Cup first round.

And on Wednesday, he once again helped his side to victory as they left Middlesbrough with a 3-2 win.

Although Dickie didn’t get on the scoresheet this time, he delivered an impressive display and helped his side break the deadlock.

West London Sport gave Dickie 8/10 and wrote: “His confidence to drift upfield with the the ball out of defence led to the foul that in turn led to the opening goal.

“Given a real physical test by the man mountain that is Matt Crooks and was once again a towering presence.”
