PSV Eindhoven are preparing for the departure of blistering winger Steven Bergwijn this summer, according to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf.
They report that PSV are relying on raising funds by selling the Dutch international, as well as his fellow winger Hirving Lozano, as they prepare for the most lucrative summer in the club’s history.
The report also says that PSV would be looking for a fee over the 34 million euros (£29m) they got for Memphis Depay when he moved to Manchester United in 2015, and that Bergwijn was assured he would be allowed to leave by the club.
Tottenham were linked by the same publication back in March with an interest in the wideman, and perhaps the news that he is now likelier than ever to leave may push their bid on a level.

Tottenham have done exceptionally well to battle against injuries, fatigue and confusion over the new stadium to make it into the semi-finals of the Champions League and qualify for the competition again next season.
But there’s no doubt they need reinforcements this summer and some greater pace in wide areas would not go amiss at all.
And now that Bergwijn looks set to leave, a shrewd businessman like Daniel Levy should be acting quickly to try and ensure Spurs have muscled ahead of perhaps richer rivals if the Dutch international is a player they’re serious about signing.
