Everton are reportedly interested in signing Hertha Berlin star Valentino Lazaro this summer.
That’s according to journalist Raffaele Auriemma, who recently spoke to CalcioNapoli24.
He believes that the Toffees are one of a few clubs monitoring the right winger, who can also operate at right-back.

Lazaro has made 27 appearances for the German outfit so far this season and has impressed, making four assists and scoring two goals.
On the player’s situation, Auriemma said: “Lazaro’s agent is talking to Napoli. The price is very high. Hertha Berlin asks for €30 million (£25.6 million), but for €25m (£21.3 million) you can take him away.
“There are Premier League clubs who follow him, particularly Everton and Leicester, who continually observe him during Hertha home games.”
TBR’s view
22-year-old Lazaro is little known but his potential signing could be an exciting one for Everton.
The Toffees’ right flank is something of a weak area at the moment, with Theo Walcott having disappointed since moving from Arsenal.
And at right-back, Seamus Coleman appears to be struggling getting back to the player he was before his awful leg break.

Arguably it’s an area in the team that needs an injection of something new.
The fact that Lazaro can play in both positions must be fairly enticing for Marco Silva.
What’s more, the energetic Austrian has been compared to Chelsea star Willian according to journalist Raphael Honigstein (via The Leicester Mercury) before as the pair apparently share a similar play style.
