Reported Spurs and West Ham target Sasa Kalajdzic comments on his future
Sasa Kalajdzic has told the Kicker meets DAZN podcast that he will leave his agent to sort out his future – in comments that may interest the likes of Spurs and West Ham.
The Austrian has enjoyed an outstanding campaign in Germany. The 23-year-old has scored 16 goals in 33 Bundesliga appearances.
His record is all the more remarkable when you consider that 10 of those appearances came from the bench, and that he spent much of his first season at Stuttgart working his way back from a serious injury.
And his form has not gone unnoticed. The Daily Mail reported last month that Spurs are keen on the forward, while the same outlet claimed in March that West Ham have taken note of the £15 million-rated star’s form.
Kalajdzic appears to have now left the door open for a potential move, although he insisted that he would be more than happy to stay where he is.
“I’m relatively relaxed because I know that I’m in a pleasant situation,” he told Kicker meets DAZN. “I’ve played a good season and I know that I’m valued in Stuttgart. I let my agent do everything and told him if there was anything concrete, let me know. But until then, I just want to play.”
West Ham and Spurs definitely need to sign a new striker this summer.
Tottenham, of course, are now having to consider what life could be like if Harry Kane ends up leaving.
The Hammers meanwhile, have done remarkably well given their lack of depth up front.
And with a Europa League campaign to prepare for, David Moyes will surely be expecting at least one new forward to arrive at the London Stadium in the coming months.
