Liverpool are said to be interested in signing Real Madrid forward and winger, Rodrygo, with reports claiming Jurgen Klopp is a fan of the Brazilian.
The exciting Samba star has done well since moving to Madrid for around £50m. He has, however, missed out recently, with injuries hampering his progress in the Spanish capital somewhat.
But that hasn’t stopped Liverpool registering an interest. It’s believed that Madrid might be willing to sell, so long as Liverpool stump up the £50m fee Los Blancos originally paid.

Rodrygo, though, is quite the talent and that fee might be money well spent. Dubbed the ‘New Neymar’ before even becoming a teenager, Rodrygo has also impressed Brazil national team coach, Tite.
“Rodrygo is, at heart, a technically brilliant and intelligent player – more refined. Vinicius is a winger, he is more about individual than combination plays – a dribbler, fast-paced and wilder,” Tite said, when comparing the two Brazilians.
“He is already a little different. He already has a very well defined tactical perception. I remember that I spoke to him the first time and straightaway he knew exactly what I wanted. He had it all very clear.”
Attacking additions needed
Liverpool could certainly do with some fresh attacking impetus in their side. The Reds have been in woeful form lately, leading to calls for the club to spend big in the market to supplement the likes of Salah and Mane at the top of the pitch.
Tite’s comments, plus the obvious comparisons to Neymar, suggest that Rodrygo might well be someone who Liverpool and Klopp do indeed need to take a punt on. Albeit, an expensive punt.
