Leeds United could be in the hunt for Club Brugge striker Emmanuel Dennis, according to reports in Belgium this week.
Het Laatste Nieuws is reporting, as relayed by Walfoot and VoetbalKrant that the Nigerian is adamant about a departure from the Belgian side this summer and that Leeds are keen, along with several other clubs, with the player carrying a potential £18 million-£22 million price-tag.
Of course, Dennis has likely caught the eye of fans in England because of his performances in Europe this season.
The attacker’s tally of just nine goals all season is not immensely impressive. However, considering two of them came against Real Madrid and the other was against Manchester United.

But whilst Leeds fans will be happy with the fact that this potential recruit once scored against their bitter rivals, he has also admitted an affection for the Red Devils.
“With their records, Manchester United is the best team in England,” Dennis was quoted as saying by All Nigeria Soccer last month. “It was good to score against them and I was happy I scored because (Lille striker Victor) Osimhen was in the stadium and I told him I will score for him.
“The feeling after is good because it is a big team. In Nigeria, I remember when I used to watch them, my brother was a staunch Manchester United fan.”
Leeds United will undoubtedly hope that any affinity Dennis has for their rivals will not get in the way of any potential move.
They would then be hoping that a move to Elland Road would help the 22-year-old rid himself of any fondness to the enemy from Lancashire.
