Everton are being linked with a move for in-form Gent star Jonathan David.
According to a report earlier this week from Jeuneux Footeaux, the Toffees are one of several teams interested in signing the exciting 20-year-old, who’s been in excellent form this season.
David, a Canada international, has contributed an amazing 19 goals and 10 assists so far this season for the Belgian outfit, which has led to interest from across Europe.

Apparently Arsenal, Leicester, RB Leipzig, Lyon, Napoli and Lazio are all keen, and Gent may have some difficulty retaining their prized asset this summer.
Interestingly, David has played a lot of games this season on the shoulder of the main striker, rather than as the main man himself.
He often takes up positions in attacking midfield, and that could make him even more desirable for Everton, with Gylfi Sigurdsson having struggled to produce his best form this season.
TBR’s view – David could revitalise number 10 role
David has the potential to breathe new life into an important position in the Everton starting XI.

Unfortunately it hasn’t been happening for Sigurdsson for a while now, and the club have to consider trying to reinforce in that particular area.
While David has been scoring goals and making assists for fun, albeit in a lesser division, the Iceland international has managed just two goals and two assists this season, and the player turns 31 later this year.
