Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly on the verge of signing Jack Clarke from Leeds United.
According to The Guardian, Spurs have agreed a £10 million deal that could rise to £11.5 million depending on achievements.

There is apparently an agreement in place that means Clarke will immediately head back to Elland Road on loan.
Clarke made four starts for Leeds last term and seemingly the feeling is that the youngster should continue his development in the Championship for another year before stepping up to the Premier League.
Talented Clarke heading back to Leeds is interesting, as it could perhaps buy another season for the underwhelming Erik Lamela at Tottenham.
TBR’s view
The 27-year-old has been with Tottenham since 2013, but arguably hasn’t realised his true potential for the north Londoners yet.
He has never really made himself an indispensable starter at the club, and it would have been fairly unsurprising if Mauricio Pochettino had wanted to move him on this summer.

He could still go, but it’s likely he’ll remain at the club for at least another season while Clarke continues in the English second tier.
Attacking midfielder or winger Lamela – who earns £80,000-a-week (Spotrac) – will definitely have to step it up though, with Clarke surely a threat to his playing opportunities in 2020/21.
