Reported Celtic transfer target Rekeem Harper has been advised against moving to Parkhead this summer by his former West Bromwich Albion teammate James Morrison.
The Daily Mail reported last week that the Hoops had joined the race to sign the teenager.

Neil Lennon actually went to watch him in action during the Championship play-off semi-final.
Then, Harper travelled to Glasgow to see Celtic’s final league game against Hearts.
Harper is out of contract this summer and is apparently interesting Tottenham Hotspur and Norwich City.
Albion confirmed on their website that they had put a second and final contract offer to the youngster, meaning a conclusion will be reached soon.

In the eyes of Harper’s teammate Morrison though, the midfielder has it good at the Hawthorns.
The freshly released star said (quoted by Express & Star): “In midfield [next season] there’s only Rak, Sam [Field], Jake [Livermore], and Chris [Brunt]. He’s got a chance to play.
“Is he guaranteed that at Celtic? He’s not. And that’s a tough place to play too.”
TBR’s view
Harper certainly would have competition if he moved to Celtic.
Some could well leave Parkhead ahead of the 2019/20 season, but at the moment Neil Lennon has Callum McGregor, Scott Brown, Olivier Ntcham, Nir Bitton, Tom Rogic and Ryan Christie all to choose from.

It would be a real challenge for Harper to make himself a regular starter for the Bhoys and Morrison may well have a point.
But Celtic are a huge club and are challenging for trophies year in year out and that could well be the most appealing thing for Harper.
