Brentford striker Neal Maupay is in talks with Spanish side Sevilla over a summer swoop, according to French outlet L’Equipe.
They report that the La Liga side, who will play in next season’s Europa League having finished sixth last season, are speaking to French hitman.
The bidding apparently will start at 10 million euros (£8.9 million) – and Sevilla are not the only club who have been linked with a move for Maupay.
Last month, Aston Villa were linked by the Sun with a bid which would see their manager Dean Smith reunite with a player he brought to Griffin Park and knows so well.

Villa of course signed Wesley from Club Brugge last week, for a fee Sky Sports report broke their transfer record at £22 million.
And some fans might expect that to kill their interest in Maupay, but the Daily Mail report that Villa remain keen on Tammy Abraham despite signing Wesley – indicating that Smith still wants another striker through the door.
But if that man is to be Maupay, Villa will need to act fast and come up with a package that is more appealing than European football at a club who have an impressive recent record in the Europa League as well as knocking Manchester United out of the Champions League in 2018.
