Reported Arsenal transfer target Bruno Fuchs has price-tag slashed

Arsenal have recently been linked with a potential move for talented Brazilian defender Bruno Fuchs. As reported Zero Hora in March, the Internacional defender has caught the eye of Arsenal’s technical director Edu who would like to add him to Mikel Arteta’s first-team.

It would not be the first time that Edu has raided his homeland for new recruits at Arsenal. Both Gabriel Martinelli and Pablo Mari joined Arsenal from Brazil, with Edu playing a role in both deals.

Now Arsenal have more reason than any to make a move for Fuchs, as his price-tag has reportedly plummeted.

It is reported by Pianeta Milan that the Brazilian side initially planned on selling Fuchs for a maximum fee of €15 million (£13.5m). However, with the club struggling due to the impact of the global health crisis on their finances, they could now be willing to discuss a deal for as little as €8 million (£7.2m).

The 21-year-old is a Brazilian under-23 international, helping the Selecao win the Toulon Tournament last summer and the 6ft 3ins star is clearly catching the eye of several teams across Europe, with Ajax and AC Milan also keen.

At just £7.2 million, it might be a bargain that Arsenal need to captialise on.
