Turkish newspaper Takvim have claimed that Galatasaray will sign Yasser Larouci from Liverpool on a free transfer this summer, if the French defender does not extend his current deal at Anfield – one that expires in the summer.
Larouci, 20, has failed to build on the two senior appearances he made for Liverpool last season – managing only two appearances in the Premier League 2 side. That is, after Liverpool added Greece international Konstantinos Tsimikas.
The Algeria-born France Under-19 international has been linked with numerous moves – even being considered by Leeds United last season. But instead, it appears the youngster could be on his way to Galatasaray in the coming months.
Now, the latest report claims that Larouci is likely to sign a contract with Gala as the SuperLig leaders look for a new left-sided defender. But they will only get him if Larouci decides not to extend his current contract on Merseyside.

TBR’s view – Larouci needs to leave Liverpool
And Galatasaray is a brilliant move for the left-back. Liverpool clearly have numerous options on the left side of the defence and even if Tsimikas and Andy Robertson were injured – James Milner and Neco Williams would be used ahead of Larouci.
To further his career, he has got to move to pastures new and a move to a team that will be looking to qualify for the Champions League group stages next season – especially as they sit top of the Turkish league after 25 games played. A no-brainer.
