Report: World Cup 'superstar' Paratici reportedly wants at Tottenham is about to be offered to Everton

United States midfielder Weston McKennie could be offered to Everton in a potential part-swap deal for Amadou Onana.

McKennie has also been mooted as a target for Tottenham, driven by senior figure Fabio Paratici ahead of the January transfer window.

CMW claim that Juventus have been impressed with Onana at the World Cup and are ready to make a play to bring him in during the winter window.

But to make the deal work financially for them, they want to offer McKennie to Frank Lampard as well as a reduced fee.

McKennie to be offered to Everton

“You’ll have heard me say this way back in videos a year ago, Fabio Paratici adores Weston McKennie. He brought him to Juventus from Schalke. Honestly, he thinks he’s a superstar,” Spurs reported Alasdair Gold told his YouTube channel.

“I wouldn’t rule out Tottenham continuing to look at him. He’s a good player, got a great engine. Box to box, very versatile as well.

“Keep an eye on that one is probably the best thing I’d say about that. Paratici will keep pushing his merits constantly.”

McKennie shone on Friday night when England were held to a 0-0 draw by the United States, with their midfield showing impressive energy throughout.

That is an indication of what McKennie could offer Everton, but Onana has had a huge impact at Goodison Park following his summer arrival.

It is unlikely Everton would be open to any approaches, especially those which are managed so they suit Juventus financially.

That could be good news for Spurs, if they want to ramp up their bid to sign him in the weeks and months ahead.
