Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng this summer, according to reports in the player’s homeland.
KickGh is reporting that Wolves have the talented Hapoel Tel Aviv midfield maestro on their radar and could make a move for the player this summer.
It is claimed that Wolves’ scout Ben Wrigglesworth has been impressed with the 22-year-old player and has given Wolves the recommendation to make a move.

Wolves would then loan the player out due to work permit issues, with clubs in Belgium, Denmark, and Italy keen.
Capable of playing in an attacking or defensive midfield role, Boateng has had a fairly quiet season in Israel in regards to his stats. The Ghanaian youth international has scored just one goal in 23 appearances for his side this term but he remains a highly-rated member of the Hapoel Tel Aviv team.
Wrigglesworth, formerly of Arsenal and Leicester City, was credited with helping in the identification of N’Golo Kante as a potential Premier League star at the King Power Stadium and Wolves will hope Boateng could be a similar sleeper hit.
Boateng recently accepted a pay cut at the Israeli club to avoid his contract being terminated but there is no doubt that he might be available at the right price, amid the current global health crisis and its subsequent financial implications.
