Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly lodged a transfer bid for Lille midfielder Boubamkary Soumare.
According to a report from Foot Mercato, the Black Country club are one of two teams to have offered ‘over €50 million’ (£43 million), the other being Napoli.

Apparently the idea would involve loaning Soumare back to Lille for the remainder of the current season.
The young Frenchman has seen his stock rise recently with some fine performances for the Ligue 1 club both domestically and in Europe.
It is thought that Manchester United are also interested in the 20-year-old (The Sun).
Wolves’ apparent offer comes after they had made a bid of €40 million last summer.
TBR’s view – Soumare would be a super Wolves addition
Wolves fans should be encouraged by the latest report.

Soumare is a very talented young midfielder, who is dynamic and mobile.
At the moment, Nuno Espirito Santo merely has technicians in his midfield.
The likes of Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho are elegant players, but it could be great for the squad to have someone who is mobile and can provide steel in the engine room.
