Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly had a €40 million/£35 million offer for Lille starlet Boubakary Soumare rejected.
RMC Sport report the Black Country club’s offer has been confirmed by the player’s agent, with the 20-year-old wanting to stay at the club for another year.
Soumare has been with Lille since moving from Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.

The France U20 international never appeared for the champions’ first-team.
The midfielder spent most of last season on the bench, but was handed five starts out of a possible six to end the season.
In that handful of games Soumare impressed with his box-to-box style, and his ability and potential have also caught Everton and Juventus’ attention.
TBR’s view
It looks like Wolves would have to increase their offer significantly to land Soumare this summer.
And they may be reluctant to do that since Soumare only really started to impress towards the end of last season.

The fact that Everton are interested though may force them into upping their bid.
The Toffees face losing Idrissa Gueye to PSG and will need a replacement for the Senegal international if he leaves.
Soumare would be an exciting capture for either side, as both teams are currently lacking a box-to-box-style dynamo.
