Wolverhampton Wanderers have been offered Douglas Costa as a potential January loan signing, according to The Telegraph.
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is believed to be on the lookout for a new striker as Raul Jimenez continues to recover from a serious head injury.
Costa is on the books at Juventus and currently back on loan at Bayern Munich, but has struggled for game time recently and could potentially be in line for a move elsewhere.
He has not played consecutive matches this season and has been limited to three starts in the Bundesliga and three in cup competitions.
And according to The Telegraph, Wolves are among the clubs who have been offered Costa as a potential recruit during the current window.
Costa is a high-calibre player with plenty of experience and a CV boasting 21 different trophies including two Bundesliga titles, three Scudettos and five Ukrainian championships.
Described as a “talent” and a “special weapon” by Arjen Robben, he is a versatile forward who can play across the front line but has usually been deployed on the wings.
With Wolves in need of bolstering their ranks up front, they could do much worse than a player like Costa.
