Report: Wolves now expect Spurs bid for Adama Traore if Harry Kane leaves
Wolves are now bracing themselves for Spurs to make a bid for Adama Traore should Harry Kane leave North London, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
Of course, Kane continues to be heavily linked with a move to Manchester City. It is not yet clear what his future holds with the deadline less than a fortnight away.
Obviously, Tottenham would prefer to keep their talisman. But it would appear that they are also making plans in case he does leave.
The Daily Mail reports that Wolves believe that a bid for Adama will be made should Kane depart.
It is noted that he is valued at £45 million with two years remaining on his contract at Molineux.
Adama Traore could be an outrageously good signing for Spurs if Nuno Espirito Santo can get the best out of him
Adama is a somewhat divisive player. On his day, he seems absolutely unplayable. He is arguably one of the most exciting players in the top flight.
However, his day probably comes around nowhere near enough. He only scored two and provided two assists last season in the Premier League.
So he would arrive with a point to prove – particularly if he signed after Kane had moved to City.
But if Nuno Espirito Santo get unlock his full potential, he could be an incredible signing for Spurs.
