Wolverhampton Wanderers have turned their attention towards Mario Lemina. According to The Mail, Wolves have contacted Southampton to enquire about Lemina.
Southampton have accepted that Lemina could leave this summer after he admitted he wants a new challenge. He has options in the Premier League and Wolves have now entered the race.
Everton are also interested in Lemina and have been told to pay at least £15.4m – which is the transfer fee Southampton shelled out for the ex-Juventus midfielder back in 2017.
Another report by The Mail has claimed that Arsenal and Manchester United have both enquired about Lemina, as well as Serie A outfit Atalanta. But Wolves are now hoping to win this pursuit.

Wolves have been discussing a potential loan with a view to buying the Gabon international. However, Southampton will ask them to match their asking price if they want the midfielder.
TBR’s view
Wolves could be an exciting move for Lemina. He provides something different for Nuno Espirito Santo with his energy in midfield. With Lemina, Leander Dendoncker, Romain Saiss, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho, Wolves would have a strong midfield department for their Europa League campaign.
Southampton need to use their funds to sort out a replacement. Ralph Hasenhuttl will have his options sussed out already but they are under no pressure to sell him for less than their asking price.
