Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly lodged a verbal offer of €42 million (£36.2 million) for Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson.
The Frenchman had been linked with a move to Molineux last month (Telefoot), but it would appear the club are now really stepping up their pursuit of the playmaker according to Le 10 Sport.

That’s despite the player having only signed a contract extension with the club back in December.
Sanson has been enjoying a good season over in Ligue 1; scoring four goals and making four assists across 32 appearances in total.
TBR’s view
Wolves would be showing their ambition once more by signing Sanson for £36.2 million.
The silky 24-year-old is a bright spark for Marseille, and would bring technical quality and dynamism to Nuno Espirito Santo’s midfield.
Wolves current do not have an abundance of options in the engine room.

Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho have been ever-presents, and Leander Dendoncker has also now established himself but can also lend a hand in defence.
Other than those three first-teamers, Wolves don’t have many other options and so a move for Sanson would make sense.
