According to Italian outlet, CalcioMercato, Wolves are in the mix with a host of European clubs to try and sign teenage star, Wahid Faghir.
Currently with Vejle BK over in Denmark, Faghir has been making waves across Europe thanks to a number of fine performances this term.
It is believed the likes of Wolves, along with Dutch giants Ajax and teams in Italy, are all montoring the progress of Faghir. At just 17, he is clearly still a raw talent but one that has caught the eye.
The forward has already played 19 league games this term, scoring five goals. It is a decent return for a 17-year-old, who has apparently already been compared with Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Wolves are constantly in the market for new talent it seems. They signed Fabio Silva in the summer, although things have yet to really work out for Silva at Molineux as yet.
TBR View: Faghir clearly has potential but is he what Wolves need right now?
The big problem Wolves have had this year is replacing the brilliant Raul Jimenez. The club did move to bring William Jose in, but like Silva, he’s hardly set the world alight thus far.
Sure, Faghir would be a smart signing and a future investment. But whether it would really impress the Wolves fans too much as things stand is another question.
Wolves are likely to want additions who can impact proceedings right now.
